Join at any time of the year.

We welcome admissions throughout the year, subject to availability.

  • Reception Admissions are processed by the Local Authority.
  • In-Year Admissions (Year 1 to Year 6) are processed by both the Local Authority and our Admissions Team.
  • Nursery Applications (Ages 3 & 4) are managed directly by the school.
  • Overseas Applications are managed by the Local Authority.

School tours are held weekly.  Tours must be booked in advance.

We are very pleased to invite you to Sulivan Primary School for one of our Open Mornings.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to get to know our school and learn about our curriculum and values.

Our open events are held every Tuesday at 10:00am, hosted by our Head of School Mr Graham.

For families seeking a more tailored experience or unable to attend an Open Morning, we also offer personalised tours with our Head of School.

Nursery Admissions

We accept children into our Nursery after their third birthday.

The nursery is made up of two different sessions: morning and full time.

The timings for these sessions are as follows: 

Morning place (15hrs a week) - 8.50am – 11.50am 

Full Time place (30hrs a week) - 8.50am – 3.20pm

All three and four year olds are entitled to receive 15 hours free of charge.
A full time place requires either a 30hrs code or incurs a 'top up' fee.
The top-up fee is payable each half term.

Reception Admissions

All admissions to the Sulivan Primary Reception class are processed by Hammersmith & Fulham Council.
We welcome children from the local nursery schools, other settings or from home.
The transfer from our Nursery to Reception is not automatic.
Children who attend our Nursery are still required to apply for a Reception place at the school through the Local Authority.

Key Dates and Eligibility

  • You can apply for a Reception place for September 2027 if your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023.
  • The Pan-London eAdmissions site opens on 1 September 2026.
  • You can apply up until the closing date: Friday, 15 January 2027.

Applications submitted after this date can still be accepted, but they will be considered as late applications.
You can log back in to your application to change or delete your preferences until midnight on the closing date.
Once you have submitted your application, you will automatically receive a confirmation email containing your application reference number.

All applications must be made via the eAdmissions portal.

Important Dates After Application

  • National Offer Day: Friday 16 April 2027

During the evening of the national offer day you will be sent an email from the Local Authority informing you that your outcome is available

Once you have received this email you can log onto the Pan-London eAdmissions website to accept or decline your offer.

  • Deadline to accept an offer: 30 April 2027.

How to respond to the offer

The offer letter you receive from the Local Authority explains how to respond to your offer.
If you applied online, you must respond to the offer through the eAdmissions website. You will need the username and password you used when you made your application.
If you cannot remember your login details, select the ‘Forgotten your username or password’ option and follow the instructions provided in the guidance document available above.
Once you have logged in, go to the ‘My school admissions’ page and select ‘View outcome and respond’.

Late applications

Late application can still be made for a reception place on the eAdmission website which remains open until the middle of August 2027.
After this date, applications can be made directly to the school if places are still available.

In-Year Admissions

An in-year admission is when your child joins a school during the school year.

You would normally be making an in-year application if you have recently moved into the area, you have arrived from overseas or you want to transfer your child from another school to ours.

The application are processed by both the Local Authority and our Admissions Team.

Appeals

Appeals for Admission to Reception

Parents whose application for a place is unsuccessful have the right to appeal the decision. This must be expressed in accordance with the school’s Admissions Criteria. Should you wish to appeal, please complete an appeal form on which you must list your reasons for making an appeal. Appeals should be addressed for the attention of the United Learning Governors and sent via email to admissions@sulivanprimaryschool.org.uk or via post to Sulivan Primary School,Peterborough Road, SW6 3BN, London.
