The School Day

Here are the timings of the school day.

Nursery and Reception

There is a separate entrance for Nursery and Reception families to use on Broomhouse Road. Please take your child to the classroom door where an adult will be waiting.

School starts at 8:50am

School finishes at 3:15pm

Part-time Nursery children start at 8:50am and are collected at 11:50am

Children are collected from the classroom doors at the end of the day.

Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2)

There is a separate entrance for Key Stage 1 families to use on Broomhouse Road. Children go directly to their classroom.

School starts at 8:50am

School finishes at 3:20pm

At the end of the school day the children in Key Stage 1 are dismissed by staff in the main playground. Parents or a named contact adult must collect children.

Key Stage 2 (Year 3 - Year 6)

There is a separate entrance for Key Stage 2 families to use on Broomhouse Road. Children go directly to their classroom.

School starts at 8:50am

School finishes at 3:20pm

At the end of the school day the children in Key Stage 2 are dismissed by staff in the main playground. Parents or a named contact adult must collect children. Only Year 6 children are allowed to go home by themselves, once written authorisation has been received.

The school day is divided into a morning and afternoon session. There is a morning break of fifteen minutes. Lunchtime is one hour. Children are in school for 32.5 hours per week.

If the gates are closed you will need to bring your child to the front entrance on Peterborough Road. A late card will be given to your child to take to class.
