PTA

Our Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) is a valued small community of parents who wish to take a proactive role in supporting the school. The Sulivan PTA is a registered charity with its prime purpose to organise social events for parents and children at the school and to raise money for extra-curricular activities for pupils. The PTA help parents and children get to know one another and build a sense of school community. The Sulivan PTA depends on the work of parent volunteers.
 
The two main fund-raising events of the year include the Christmas Fair and the Summer Fair. These two events are popular with our families and in the local community. There are stalls, fun rides, delicious refreshments, a multitude of games and fantastic raffle prizes! The children are always excited about each event and Year 6 are also involved in the planning of some of the activities.
 
The funds raised for the school recently included:
  • A set of twenty iPads
  • Whole school drama production
  • Playground markings for the main playground and Early Years playground
  • Financial support for class trips
  • Reception Graduation gowns
  • Year 6 Leavers hoodies and end of year celebration
