Safeguarding
At Sulivan Primary, we believe that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Anyone who interacts with children and their families or caregivers plays a role in keeping them safe. All professionals adopt a child-centred approach, always considering the best interests of the child.
We teach our children about how to be safe in the community as well as online. If you have any concerns about the safety of any child, please speak to a member of staff who you feel comfortable with.
The school has a comprehensive policy so that we can provide staff, volunteers and governors with the framework they need in order to keep children safe and secure in our school and to inform parents and guardians how we will safeguard their children whilst they are in our care.
All of our staff have completed all the relevant Child Protection training. We follow a clear set of procedures when concerns arise and matters are dealt with sensitively.
