Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium Grant was introduced in 2011 and is allocated to schools from the Department for Education (DfE) to help vulnerable pupils achieve their potential. These include pupils who are entitled to free school meals (FSM), those looked after by the Local Authority and children of armed service personnel. This funding is to accelerate progress and to raise attainment of all pupils regardless of ability and current attainment levels. It may also support any other areas of need including physical and mental health and wellbeing.
